Peak Performance Academy's PPA 100 Winter ID camp will take place Feb. 9th-11th, 2024 at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex in Naples, Florida.

The PPA 100 is designed for players looking to be a collegiate student athlete. The PPA Team is looking for the next generation of players to show off their stuff. Players will be assessed throughout the 3 days in both training and game settings in the beautiful Paradise Coast Sports Complex in Naples.

Please note: the 2024 PPA Winter Camp is for boys only.

The mission of the PPA is to give high school soccer players (Grades 9-12) an inside look into college soccer and to put those players in front of coaches from some of the top soccer schools in the nation.

With a coaching staff comprised of schools from top DI and DIII schools, each and every player will be able to showcase their talents for the chance to someday represent those same schools at the highest collegiate level.

PPA Staff is subject to change due to NCAA rules, Conference rules, travel restrictions, public health guidelines, etc.  We will keep the staff updated regularly when information becomes available.

What separates PPA from many others is the attention that is paid to providing our student-athletes with the complete recruiting and college soccer picture. Every day at PPA there is at least one different seminar that is designed to better assist high school athletes with their transition to college. Our seminars consist of daily sessions that educate the student-athletes about the complicated recruiting process and the competitive level of college soccer. Past seminars include:

PPA Special Seminars

College Soccer and Recruiting

College coaches present and provide general institutional information about their school and soccer program. Players learn about the scouting and recruiting process as well as what it takes to be a successful college soccer player.

Being a College Student-Athlete

Current college players speak about their experiences coming out of high school and now as collegiate student-athletes. A question and answer session helps give the high school players some ideas about marketing themselves, picking the right school and managing their lives in college.

Leadership Skills

This seminar is about a valuable topic that will educate all of the players on issues related to personal development and life. Some of the past presentations have been about sportsmanship, community service and leadership.

Paradise Coast Sports Complex - Naples, Florida

The PPA 100: Winter ID Camp Clinic will be held in Naples, Florida on world class fields at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex. There is no better setup anywhere in the United States – we’ll have Florida weather and perfect training fields. There are many hotels within ten miles of the fields and multiple airport options conveniently located: 30 minutes from Ft. Myers (and it’s airport), and 90 minutes from both Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports.

At the Camp

Each player will get the opportunity to train, play and measure themselves against other top players. Teams will be coached by current college coaches so that they get a taste of what college soccer is all about. Goalkeepers will go through goalkeeper specific training. In addition, each player will attend PPA seminars which will give a 360 degree view of what the college recruiting process entails. At the end of the weekend each player will get an evaluation of their play that they can share with coaches and colleges that were not represented.

FAQ's

PPA decided to start a Winter ID Camp in 2013 (our 10th year!) in order to increase the opportunity for players to get seen earlier in the recruiting process. It will give you a head start in being seen by some of the top coaches in the game of college soccer.

After COVID we decided not to include hotel, meals or transportation in the fee (which we have significantly discounted from past years).  This was to allow players and families maximum flexibility in their arrangements.

Yes, we will have evaluations that will be given to the athletes after the camp is completed.
No, but we are currently limited to only 100 student athletes and we have already had a lot of interest.

The Winter ID Camp costs $399 before December 1, and $499 after December 1st.  That’s an absurd savings if you sign up early! Please compare this with other similar experiences. Not a bad deal! Note that PPA is not the “money maker” type camp experience that over-promises and under-delivers. We have been around for 17 years because of our reputation and dedication to helping players achieve their goals!
