Peak Performance Academy's PPA 100 Winter ID camp will take place Jan 29-31, 2021 at the Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

The PPA 100 is designed for players looking to be a collegiate student athlete. The PPA
Team is looking for the next generation of players to show off their stuff. Players will be
assessed throughout the 3 days in both training and game settings in the beautiful
Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch.

The mission of the PPA is to give high school soccer players (Grades 9-12) an inside
look into college soccer and to put those players in front of coaches from some of the
top soccer schools in the nation. With a coaching staff comprised of schools from top DI
and DIII schools, each and every player will be able to showcase their talents for the
chance to someday represent those same schools at the highest collegiate level.

Please note: the 2021 PPA Winter Camp is for boys only.

PPA Special Seminars

What separates PPA from many others is the attention that is paid to providing our student-athletes with the complete recruiting and college soccer picture. Every day at PPA there is at least one different seminar that is designed to better assist high school athletes with their transition to college. Our seminars consist of daily sessions that educate the student-athletes about the complicated recruiting process and the competitive level of college soccer. Past seminars include:

College Soccer and Recruiting

College coaches present and provide general institutional information about their school and soccer program. Players learn about the scouting and recruiting process as well as what it takes to be a successful college soccer player.

Being a College Student-Athlete

Current college players speak about their experiences coming out of high school and now as collegiate student-athletes. A question and answer session helps give the high school players some ideas about marketing themselves, picking the right school and managing their lives in college.

Leadership Skills

This seminar is about a valuable topic that will educate all of the players on issues related to personal development and life. Some of the past presentations have been about sportsmanship, community service and leadership.

The Premier Sports Campus - Lakewood Ranch, Florida

The PPA 100: Winter ID Camp Clinic will be held in Lakewood Ranch, Florida on two professional world class fields at the Premier Sports Campus. There is no better setup anywhere in the United States – we’ll have Florida weather and perfect training fields. There are many hotels within ten miles of the fields. The sports complex is located just 14 miles from Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport and about one hour from Tampa International Airport.

At the Camp

Each player will get the opportunity to train, play and measure themselves against other top players. Teams will be coached by current college coaches so that they get a taste of what college soccer is all about. Goalkeepers will go through goalkeeper specific training. In addition, each player will attend PPA seminars which will give a 360 degree view of what the college recruiting process entails. At the end of the weekend each player will get an evaluation of their play that they can share with coaches and colleges that were not represented.

FAQ's

PPA decided to start a Winter ID Camp in 2013 in order to increase the opportunity for players to get seen earlier in the recruiting process. It will give you a head start in being seen by some of the top coaches in the game of college soccer.
Due to COVID -19 the PPA Winter Camp will not include a hotel, meals or transportation. We are doing this to limit players exposure to COIVD- 19 and to be responsible and safe. The fee (which has been significantly discounted) will include everything on the field and our award winning seminar seies.
Sure, you are more than welcome to bring someone along to the camp but please remind them that this is all about soccer. It will be a busy three days and you'll need to be as rested and focused as possible. All parent spectators will be asked to respect public health advice (ie social distanced spectating and masks).
Yes, we will have evaluations that will be given to the athletes after the camp is completed.
No, but we are currently limited to only 100 student athletes and we have already had a lot of interest.
The Winter ID Camp costs $325 before December 1, and $359 after December 1. Please compare this with other similar experiences. Not a bad deal! Note that PPA is not the “money maker” type camp experience that over-promises and under-delivers. We have been around for 15 years because of our reputation and dedication to helping players achieve their goals!
If a player cancels:

A credit will be issued to any athlete who must cancel prior to camp. No money will be refunded. The credit is a voucher for any PPA camp (including summer) through the end of 2022. This includes all summer camps in Summer 2021 or Summer 2022. There are no exceptions for injuries, or any other circumstances.

If camp cancels:

You will receive a full refund (minus a small administrative fee) or you can apply that amount to a future camp.

We are hopeful that things are trending in a direction in which we’ll be able to have an awesome camp experience at the end of January 2021. However, we’d advise to wait until December 1 to make plane arrangements.
